Jump Jam Leadership Day

On the 17 of June,10 kids went to Blaketown School to learn leadership skills, with the maker of Jump Jam, Brett Fairweather                                                    

This is the video that we had to practise for jump jam before we went.

DARE

D.A.R.E
Room 5 and Room 8 have been doing the D.A.R.E programme.
It's a programme that helps with coping strategy and raising self esteem.

When we finished D.A.R.E, we had a celebration at the swimming pool.
We had the blue light inflatable and the hydroslide.  We had a great time at the pool.
Thank you to the pool for letting us use the inflatables at the pool.

ANZAC service

Our Recycling Group

Our school is getting into recycling Alex Muir, Sammie Hagenaar, Jess Beckford and Daniel Delany are the children with responsibilities for starting recycling in our school. We are planning to compost, paper, can and plastic recycling.

Yesterday and today, we had our first student leadership meetings for the year. We have lots of great ideas.  Watch this space!
